Roland Rudolph's History: 1900 - circa 1963

Uncover new discoveries and connections today by sharing about people & moments from yesterday.
  • Introduction

Roland had 3 sons by Florence Marie Martin. Ralph, Robert and Arthur. Ralph is my father who has passed. He was raised by the State of MO and later adopted by his foster parents Mr. and Mrs. Wasser. Robert was raised by his Aunt Ethel Martin. He served in the European Theatre during WWII. He was badly wounded at Anzio and later captured by the Germans. Arthur was given to a family by the name of Leonard and Katherine Botell or Brotell who at the time worked for the Yellow Cab company as dispatchers in St. Louis. They moved Arthur Edward to Los Angeles, CA and opened up a Laundry. My dad, Ralph claimed he found Arthur when he was getting ready to enter college (UCLA?) and decided not to bother him at such a critical time in his life. Any info as to the location of Arthur would be appreciated by Robert. Roland married a Mrs. Orie Wells after Arthur was born and had a son. Orie and Roland lived in the house on Charlack a mile from where I grew up. Just think, Gramps was right in the neighborhood, but who knew?
