High-school Handsome Boy
I knew of Russell in middle school at Maracheck in Aurora Co. I was very shy and we never spoke. I always admired his looks and how he handled himself after his cancer diagnosis. I met him years later at a friend's party and we sat outside talking for a long time. He was all I had hoped he would be and we actually exchanged numbers and we talked a few times. It was so nice getting to know a boy I'd had a crush on from a distance at Rangeview high. We didn't keep in touch, I'm not sure why, but I always wondered about how he was. Saddened to hear of his passing. I wish I knew what happened and if he had any amazing adventures in his short life.
