    Thomas was one of six children who arrived on the S.S,Palmyra on the 19th July 1848 in Australia with his parents James Dellar & Lydia Howe. He married Ellen McGrath in 1850 in Kilmore Vic. He is buried with his wife in the Graytown cemetery, Vic, They together had 12 children
