He had siblings Elizabeth Grant, Marie Grant, and Sarah Grant. He married Annabella Bowen Linney, and had children Margaret Elizabeth Grant, Gerard Kenneth, Ian Edward Grant, and Florence Mary Grant. Thomas Grant died at age 79 years old in 1957 in Melbourne, VIC Australia.
