Essie Elizabeth (Dooley) Mathis of Belton, Anderson County, South Carolina United States was born on March 21, 1927 in High Point, Guilford County, NC to Ola M Mcduffie. She married Earl F Mathis in December 1957, and they were married until Earl's death on January 21, 2005 in Belton, Anderson County, South Carolina. She had children Earl F Mathis Jr and Kathye DeAnn (Mathis) Toms. Essie Mathis died at age 96 years old on April 11, 2023 at Piedmont Post-Acute 109 Bentz Rd, in Piedmont, Anderson County, and was buried on April 18, 2023 at Mount Zion Baptist Church/Cemetery 206 Zion St, in Belton.
