Alma was a wonderful friend, mother and sister. She had a huge, loving and giving heart and soul. She left behind her 3 children Elmo and Becky Gonzalez and her daughter with Saul Villarreal, Ileana Villarreal (Meraz). Four loving grandsons who loved her to the moon. Alma worked at See's Candies, South San Francisco as a candy factory worker. A tough job indeed but an excellent company where she made many friends. Alma went to school up to the 6th grade when she was pulled out so that her father could enter politics in Nicaragua and she stayed home with her mother while her brothers stayed in school and took on successful careers including engineering. Alma taught herself many things, she was amazingly determined that way. She taught herself English through records that she practiced each day at home. She learned how to drive in the USA and loved long rides where she could explore with friends and family, especially where there was a beach. She loved animals and travelling. She will not be forgotten but remembered and cherished.
Born in Leon, Nicaragua.
Rest in peace mom. I love you.
