Ann Sophia (Stocking) Smith
Ann Sophia Stocking 1804 - 1879. Born Chatham, CT, died Springfield, MA. Married Edwin Smith of Springfield, MA. at Ludlow, MA in 1827. She was the daughter of Alexander Stocking and Grand daughter of Abner Stocking who fought with the Patriots in the battle of Quebec in 1775 and Ruth Higgins who is descended from Mayflower Pilgrim Master Stephen Hopkins.
