Catherine Frances (Hoferer)

Catherine Frances (Hoferer) Riat was born on January 22, 1830 in Ribeauvillé, Grand Est France to Michael Hofferer and Catherine (Fuchs), and had siblings Michael Hoferer and Charles Hofferer. She married George Riat on February 4, 1856 at butler county in Butler County, Ohio United States, and had children Mary Elizabeth Riat, Amelia A. Riat Immenschuh, Louis Carl Riat, Michael Riat, Anna Riat, George Charles Riat, Louise Eugenia Riat, Fredrick Edward Riat, Frances Mathilda Riat, and Katherine Elizabeth Riat. Catherine Riat died at age 66 years old on January 6, 1897 in Louisville, Kansas United States.
