This CDV was done by Henry Noss, a well-known photographer from New Brighton, Pennsylvania.
Henry Noss was born about 1837 in Harmony, PA and entered the photography business at a young age by opening a studio over a grocery store. He married Charlotte Winter, daughter of Reverend Ferdinand Winter, who died shortly after their children were born.
Henry and his children later became entertainers in the vaudeville field.
Photo found in an antique store. Writing on the back says "Uncle John" so cannot I identify the man in the photo.
