This is a photo of my mother's uncle Samuel Joseph Clark, born March 2, 1897 (at the far left showing "the one that got away"), and his father-in-law John McGushin, (somber in the vest) born in Ireland in May, 1860 and various and sundry relatives and hangers-on at the beach on a sunny California day back in the 1920s.
