David Dickey Duppstadt
David Dickey Duppstadt was born on June 17, 1932 in Brothersvalley Twp, Somerset Co, PA to parents Clarence "Dutch Duppstadt (1905-1960) and Ada Dickey (1905-1985). He had a younger sister, Lois Ann Duppstadt. They grew up living in Stonycreek, Somerset, Pennsylvania, USA. David served as an Army Security Agency and is a veteran of the Korean War. He married Phyllis Elaine Carver (1937-1981) on August 25, 1961 and they had a son together. He also married Esther Nicholson (died 2006) in 1961 and they also had a son together. David worked as a teacher, principal, and superintendent at Meyersdale Area High School (Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, USA) in the 1960's. In 1963, he was the faculty advisor for the Future Teachers of America club and in 1964, he was the JV Basketball coach.
