Ella Agusta (Grutsch) Ernst

In my family tree are listed Grusecks' that came from Germany and were related to the Hamm family. Upon arrival in Massachusetts they resided with the Lorenz Ernst family. Do any of my names "ring" a bell for you? Lorenz Ernst owned a bakery in Boston, his wife was Anna Maria Hamm from Schutterzell, Germany. I have a lot of data on this family. I wish the names you mention were familiar but none of them ring a bell. I also don't think any of my Grutschs lived in Mass. Quite a coincidence with both of the family names being ones I am searching. Did you happen to see the photo of Albert Comfort Ernst, Ellas' husband? He is a bit of a mystery. And may have been a bounder. There is a strong possibility that he was a bigamist, at the very least. His journal paints a picture of a man who could not settle down and was always looking for adventure. But the documentation shows him in a very different light. He never mentions a wife or children in the journal yet he had at least four with two different women. My father was unaware that he had half brothers and sisters, one of which lived no more than ten miles from us when he passed away. Anyway, it is much frustrating fun searching for information on him.
