I think Charles B Asher may be my great great grandfather and my dads gr. grandfather.

My grandparents names were Larry Asher and my grandmother was Joanne Auldridge (although I’m not 100% certain of the spelling it could be aldridge ) in the picture you had with you family and the auldridge family that may be my grandmothers family. The timelines and setting match. I’m calling my dad in the morning to see if he can fill me in, I’ve been researching for years trying to find out family’s past. Do you by any chance have any Jewish bloodline in way past / or associated? We have a percentage on my dads side, my grandparents didn’t talk much about their life.
