George Whitfield Ivey (1832 - 1915).
Portrait of George Whitfield Ivey (1832 - 1915.)He was born in Prince George County, Virginia, the only son of George H. W. Ivey and Mary Wilmuth Lewis Brown and brother of Mary Ann Ivey Johnson. He married Miss Therina M. Heath in Petersburg, Virginia in 1858. He served in the army of the Confederate States of America and in his later years, lived in the Confederate Soldiers' Home,Lee Camp.
