Grace Mary (Gerva) Ostrowski

A spunky and active woman she held many jobs and was considered to be a female Jack of all trades She was well known for an adventurous nature she went on a family RV trip to the Grand Canyon and white water-rafted down the Arkansas river at 80 When she wasn't grabbing life by the horns she loved quilting . She'd spend hours sewing the most important thing to her was her family, raising 6 kids and watching 20 grandkids grow up was a major source of joy for her. In return her family equally loved their matriarch. On her 80th birthday every ostrowski got together to give her one heck of a surprise party she was never more surprised in her life She lived in Chicago alone for years after her husband died. This worried her children especially her youngest, Mike who didn't think she was safe there anymore and was constantly spending weekends up there to make sure she was safe. After several years of this she moved closer to him , his wife and her 2 youngest grand daughters . She would be at the front of many a milestone for her grandkids
