Graduated from Fairfax High School in Los Angeles. Served in the Army Airforce in WW II. Graduated with a BSME and a MS Mathematics from USC. Work for North American Aviation and Lockheed Space and Missiles Company for 45 years. He was a Program Manager developing the U2 and SR71 spy planes. He was married to Enid Hateley for 67 years and had 3 sons who also graduated from USC.
