Jane Crawford Brennan Apr 24, 1846 - Dec 13, 1905

She came to America with her parents when she was only 3 years old. She lived in OHio, near the city of Niles for much of her youth. In 1865 she married Hugh Brennan in Bevington, PA and they then moved to Des Moines, Iowa, in 1868. They lived there the rest of their lives. Theirs was one of those American dream stories. Her husband started out on the police force as a beat cop. After some time (and education) he became a well known judge, and she become a society woman. She had 10 children.
