William "Jasper" Floyd & Sara Jane (Hawks) Floyd of Beechgrove, Tennessee: Jasper was in the Civil war and was caught by the Yankees and held in a camp. When he was finally released he was about starved to death.
He married Sara Jane Hawks Dec, 21. 1878. They had 13 kids.
James rily (Jim) Floyd, Samuel Rily (Sam) Floyd, Betty Ann Floyd, Mary Ida Floyd, Gaines B. Floyd, William Mitchell Floyd, Walter Floyd, John Martin Floyd, Frank Pearson Floyd, Mattie Jane Floyd, Minnie Catherine Floyd, Henry Summers Floyd, and Golden Pearl Floyd.
He was buried at Hoodoo Wilson Chapel Cemetery.
She was 64 in 1920, widowed, living in Dist #10, Coffee County, Tennessee.
She lived at RT #3, Morrison, Tennessee in 1929 when she applied for a Confederate Pension for her husband James Hawks service.
Her parents were James Thomas Hawks, and Nancy Ann Ballard.
