At 1 week of age, we moved to Corpus Christi. Went through school at Tuloso-Midway til the 8th grade. Graduated high school from Three Rivers. Got my BS from UT Austin as the first 4.0 EE. Got my first graduate degree in Physics (Electronic Science) from the Oregon Graduate Center while working at Tektronix in Beaverton, Oregon. Spent 4 years at Sandia National Lab in the Alternative Energy Research group while working on a math degree at U. of New Mexico. (Did not finish before changing jobs.) Spent 5 years as the head of research for CRC Wireline while taking PhD classes in Electrical Engineering. Closed the lab so I could work on my dissertation full time at U T Arlington. Received my final degree in 1987. Moved to San Antonio to work for Alamo Technologies as the head of Engineering. Worked mostly on Air Force related electronic designs until I was moved back to Dallas area as Chief Scientist when Alamo Tech was purchased by ___. In September 2000 we moved to Three Rivers to the refinery, Ultramar Dimond-Shamrock, as Engineering manager for instrumentation. I spent 16 years before retiring. But then I spent 4 years teaching College Math at George West HS. I started home dialysis and started living on retirement funds.
