John Murray

John Murray, son of Timothy and Catherine (Finger) Murray. John was born in August 1827 in Lawrence County, Indiana, married March 22, 1849 Caroline Matilda Miller, and died May 14, 1919 in Lawrence County, Indiana. He is buried in Freedom Cemetery in Lawrence County, Indiana. One sibling was Elijah Murray.

I'm hunting for Elijah Murray who might have been in OH in 1847-1857 and Iowa in 1857. He is named on my abstract for my house along with Peter Kroft and his children, Rachael Kroft, Hiram Kroft and Harriet Kroft.

Well, my Elijah married Elizabeth Brown in 1844 in both Baltimore and D.C. Must have been quite a bachelor party!
