Kazimierz Konieczny
This is my step grandad. kazimierz konieczny born in 1923 in debrica, krakau Poland. He left his mother at a very young age and left Poland to join the army. He once told me a story of him blowing up a German prison of warcamp to free his freinds. After the war he came to London, England and met my beautiful grandmother, Ann Elizabeth kincey nee kelly. Anne lived in dagenham and already had 2 children Maria kincey and Catherine kincey. He took them on as if they were his own and had another daughter angela konieczny. Kaz loved his grandchildren, and would do anything to see them happy. In 1999 christmas eve Ann passed away. Kaz was heartbroken. He kept a brave face for us lot. But often broke down over my nan. On 3rd September 2000 me and grandad was on our way back to his house in the car when he started twitching saying his back was hurting. We had a head on collision outside the roundhouse pub in lodge avenue/porters avenue dagenham. Kaz had a heart attack while driving. We all say he's heart was broken from losing my nan x I was there when he passed away. And I miss him loads. I have recently been doing my family history research and have been looking for the family he left behind all them years ago. But with no joy. I hope 1 day soon I will get there. I thought I would share a short version of my story about kazimierz. Hope you enjoyed.
