Lauro Saldana married Bernarda Cardoza Rodriguez (born 1903 in Mexico) on July 30, 1923, in Santiago, Mexico and they had three children, including Manuel and Josefina Melero. Josefina was born in Phoenix Arizona in 1933 and died in 2001 and buried in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
