Mack McQuary Carter Carneal

My grandfather Mack McQuary Carter Carneal, we called him Daddy Mack. He was a wonderful person. A funny thing one of his habits was to ease drop on the telephone as they had party lines. Daddy Mack would say "hash up" children. They lived in the home his grandparents built in 1840's. We never went up stairs by ourself. Daddy Mack's grandmother was Cherokee Indian & he believed there were ghosts upstairs & lots of places around the large home.
