Marcella and Michael Steiner

When Marcella Ann Steiner was born on April 3, 1918, in Geddes, South Dakota, her father, Michael, was 35, and her mother, Eugenie, was 27. She had two sons and five daughters with Michael Joseph Steiner between 1933 and 1952. She died on October 2, 1984, in St Paul, Minnesota, at the age of 66, and was buried in Little Canada, Minnesota.

Steiner Michael J. Steiner, age 87, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Desert Regional Hospital on Sunday, February 20, 2005. Mike is survived by his adoring wife, Lorraine (Susie), six daughters; Dorothy Mae Topka & husband Arnie, Joanne Schwartz, Janet Weidall & husband Roy, Donna Marie Lamson & husband Tom, Patricia Behr and Bobbie Vitale & husband Ron; one son; John Seigler and wife Jean; 27 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and his beloved little dog Benji. He is further survived by numerous relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Mathias and sister Betty. He was a master mechanic for 45 years with a shop in St Paul, MN. He spent the last four years in CA. Mike had a particular talent for teaching boys to become worthwhile men. He will be greatly missed by all of those whose lives he touched. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 12th 3:00 pm at Palm Springs Mortuary, 69855 East Ramon Road, Cathedral City, CA 92234.
