Marta Krievins Kics of Woodstock, McHenry County, IL was born on March 30, 1907 in Gaujiena, Smiltene Latvia to Jānis Krieviņš and Anna (Ozols) Krieviņš. She had siblings Johanna (Krieviņa) Ziediņa, Kārlis Jūlijs Krieviņš, Ernestīne Krieviņa, and Austra Krieviņa. She married Voldemārs Kics on August 22, 1936 and they separated at Sv.Jāņa Church in Rīga Latvija, and had a child Ilze Kics. Marta Kics died at age 88 years old on August 18, 1995.
