Norman A. Mort
This is a picture of my father, Norman A. Mort, taken at Richmond Furnace, Franklin County, PA in 1921. He looks like a desperado with his gun tucked in his belt, but was actually a rural mail carrier, and at that time, was allowed to carry a firearm for protection.
