Orestus G. Bailey, 1920

Orestus Gustavus Bailey of Stroud, Lincoln County, Oklahoma United States was born in 1845 in Fort Ann, Washington County, NY to Matilda (Crippen) Bailey. He married Jessica Cornelia (Bates) Bailey on July 10, 1893 in Belleville, Republic County, Kansas, and they were married until Jessica's death on March 3, 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. They had a child Lila Lenora Bailey. He was the parent of Velma Dessie Maier, and Elma Defoor. Orestus Bailey died at age 85 years old on November 6, 1931 in Stroud, Lincoln County, and was buried in November 1931 at Bloomington, Franklin County, Nebraska in Bloomington, Franklin County, NE.
