Oris Motter Schrecengost was born on September 29, 1902 at Garretts Run in Garrets Run, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania United States to Mary Hannah Bishoff and David Albert Schrecengost, and had siblings Mern Leroy Schrecengost, Nora Bell Schrecengost, Fonda Alene (Schrecengost) Held, Ira Ward Schrecengost Sr., Cover Carl Schrecengost, Hazel Louise (Schrecengost) Bates, Florence Bessie (Schrecengost) Lanham, and Hulda Lucille (Schrecengost) Smith. He married Twila Laverne (Lambing)Schrecengost, and had a child Wilma Larue "Polly" (Schrecengost) Bush. Oris Schrecengost died at age 90 years old in April 1993 in Kittanning, and was buried in April 1993 at Lawn Haven Burial Estates Butler Rd, in Worthington.
