Pieter and Laura
My son Pieter was out in the water looking for crawdaddies one day and just as he picked one up, he heard a girl scream 'HERMAN!' at the top of her lungs. Laura Oakes had named the crayfish. Thus began their friendship! Pieter loved having the Oakes stay at our resort. Laura's father built a raft one year & they sailed it across the lake. Little did we know the day this photo was taken that our days at Tahoe would soon be over. It was our last year at Tahoe!
