John Fisler was my great grandfather. He was a commercial fisherman in Belford, NJ. He married Dorothy Schneider, and they had 3 children- Joan, John & Dorothy “Bubbles” Fisler. John was a strong, kind man who loved his family, built his own house at 577 East Rd in Belford, and always took care of his family. He loved his children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. I remember as a child, putting on shows & dancing with my sisters & cousins for Great Grandpa. He passed away at his house on East Rd in 1992.
