Pvt. William H. Fryling (May 1831 - July 1903)
My G/Great Grandfather (William H. Fryling) was buried in an unmarked grave for 91 years. Realizing he was a Civil War Veteran and entitled to an official grave marker .. I applied to the Veterans Administration and my request was immediately granted. I was emotionally overwhelmed while capturing this most meaningful photo .. and saluted Grandfather Fryling's grave. Indeed .. this was a paramount "Mission Accomplished".
Date & Place: at Lawnview Cemetery in Rockledge (Philadelphia), Pennsylvania USA
