Biography: When Radford Calton Gragg was born on December 18, 1917, in Caldwell County, North Carolina, his father, William Henderson Gragg (1883 - 1946), was 33 and his mother, Mary Etta Coffey Gragg (1887 - 1951), was 29. He had three siblings: Frank Albert Gragg (1915 - 1936) Glenn Arthur Gragg (1920 - 1987) Beverly Allena Gragg Ollis (1926 - 2012) He had two daughters with Katie Woodie.
