Ralph G Lassiter

Ralph G. “Butch” Lassiter, age 70, Webb City, passed away at 12:10 a.m. on April 23, 2009 at National Health Care of Joplin after a long bout with Parkinson’s Disease.

Butch was born July 28, 1938 in Webb City to the late Walter and Zelma Lassiter, and had lived in the Webb City area all of his life where he worked as a salesman. Butch was a member of Carterville Christian Church.

In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Lassiter, and a sister, Patricia E. Morrill.

He married Carolyn Sue Mayes on August 8, 1958, she survives. Butch is also survived by three daughters, Pam Spiva of Joplin, Kim McAllister, and Traci Bickett both of Webb City; two brothers, Charles Lassiter of Joplin, and Bill Lassiter of Colorado Springs, Colorado; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
