Robert Reinhold Klawitter, Illinois 1938

Robert Reinhold Klawitter Prayer card (In German). He came to America in the early 1890s. Settled in Steger, IL, where he worked in the piano factory as a wood craftsman. Built the house that still stands at 3004 Chicago Road from blueprints he sent away for from Sears Roebuck & Co.
