Serlena Catherine Russell Obituary
Mrs. Serlena Catherine Russell, 90, died at her residence on August 10 after a brief period of illness.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, with the Rev. Wilson officiating.
Mrs. Russell was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary Mears Crosby, born in Colleton County. She was a member of the Deep Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors: two daughters, Mrs. Nina Lingard and Idella Colter of Orangeburg; three sons, Johnson Stevens of Orangeburg, Richard Stevens of Long Island, N.Y., and Prima Stevens of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sisters, Bessie Smith of New York, N.Y.; Zola Robinson of Walterboro, S.C. and 12 grandchildren and a host of other relatives.

Friends may call at the residence at Rte. 1, Box 214-E, or at Jones Funeral Home.
