Monroe [contact link]) took this picture of Ludwig's tombstone which is next to that of his wife, Elizabeth Henrietta ... in the St. James Lutheran Cemetery on Trabue Road in Columbus, Norwich Twp, Franklin Co, Ohio. Ludwig Carl (aka Ludwick, Ladwick, and Louis A. Carl) was born in Schwartzberg, Sundershausen, Germany on 22 Jan 1790, married Elizabeth Henrietta ..., then immigrated to the United States, and settled in Franklin County, Ohio. Their children were: Christian aka Henry F. Carl, who was born in Bavaria, Germany, in 1822, and who married Anna Mary Selbert; Augusta Paulina Carl, born in 1828, who married 1) a Daugherty and 2) an August Sibert or Seeber; and Stephen Carl, born abt 1836 in Germany. Ludwig died 1 Aug 1877.
