James McMurry (1817 Lincoln, KY - 1903 Indianapolis, IN) m. Livonia Darnall in 1843 in Putnam, IN.

Issue: Mary L (Pratt), Joshua Benton, Sarah E (Lewis), & James Turpin.

He laid the foundation of his prosperity as a farmer and afterwards became a banker at Warsaw, Indiana, and spent his last years as a money lender in Indianapolis, where he died.
