  • Obituary

Hawaii-- April Tuesday Macaluso, 29, died Monday, June 4th 2007. She was rescuing baby panthers, from rebels engaged in illegal wild life smuggling, into Hawaii. She got them to shore safely. We salute and honor you! Larger than life, she died at the age 29, one year more than Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, and Janis Joplin, cementing her rightful place at the head of the Rock and Roll Rebel table. It's good to be queen! A memorial service was held on the moon Metis, on the outer ring of Jupiter, three years ago. It took three years to arrive and three years to return. If her partner had stopped and asked for gravitational sling shot directions via the Hohmann Transfer Ellipse, he might have been able to let you all know 8 months sooner, He apologizes. Condolences may be screamed at the top of your lungs from the roof of the nearest building. April, we all love and miss you more than words (which were your best tools) could ever express. I love you. NU

I was her husband.
April was VIBRANT, insanely intelligent, interesting. She was talented beyond the matrix that often tried to bring her down. She taught me my bravery. She taught me integrity, she was a HERO. We, once, saved a man’s life, together. Though she never spoke of it, for her bravery, I can only assume she had saved many before, including this man. April loved music more than anything else. She sought a future as a sound engineer, and pursued it, big on flying faders. Our musical tastes and love for the outer bounds of bullshit are what brought us together. April came from a long standing and successful career as a choreographer and skilled dancer. She also was a poet, a profound writer. Her musings, in both dance and poetry kept her alive. So did real love. Every atrocity ever given to her was unjust, completely unfair, and she sailed through them as the hustler and queen she is and was. She deserved EVERYTHING and EVERYONE better. April is and will always remain a LEGEND. God saw that, and took her.

This is hard to believe. I went to FB to find an old friend and I saw a memorial page. So I Googled her. The only April Tuesday Macaluso in the WORLD. She told me her mother wanted to name her her entire birth date and nurses wouldn't let her. Therefore, she settled for April Tuesday. Lol. We met in 8th grade in Florida. She was my best friend. By summer her folks sent her back to AZ. She told me why they were sending her back. She was different from them. She had live for everyone in her heart. She was so cool and pretty. She was always singing. She would always A Lighter Shade of Brown. :)
I just have old faded memories.
This really saddens me. RIP old friend. I wish I'd searched sooner.

Man I don't know what to say.... I went to middle school with April. I was an introvert, quiet, shy and A. T. Mac was always super nice to me. She was my first friend in middle school and my first crush. lol. We skipped classes together and hung out outside. Then one day she was up and gone, locker cleaned out and I was devasted. I cant remember who told me but he said she moved to Arizona.

I'm sure the people that knew her in her adult life wont be surprised but she was a light to a shy kid in middle school and helped me to come out of my shell. It might sound like cliché and like alot of stories you read but she had a huge part in helping me come out of my shell and become less of an introvert.

I was going through my old Middle school year book and came across her signature and decided to search to see if she was on FB or something in order to reach out. I'm so, so sad to hear that she has past on at such a young age. Such a beautiful person inside and out and I know its been a long time ago but I just want to give all of her friends and family my deepest condolences. Please know that I am very heart broken right now.
