Ida Mae (Skiles) Hobbs was born to Asbury Skiles and Jane (O'Brien) Skiles, and has siblings Zella (Skiles) Dugan, Harry Guy Skiles, Cyrene Skiles, Theresa "Tess" Skiles, Sarah (Skiles) Ledrick, and Edna (Skiles) Dopp. She married Lewis Jenkins Hobbs, and they had a child Ida Mae (Hobbs) Gillen. She would also marry Lewis Jenkins Hobbs.
