    She was raised in Boston, and at the age of 19, Donna moved to Germany, after getting a part in the German version of Hair, the musical.

  • Religious Beliefs

    Donna grew up in a very religious household. When she recorded her hit song, “Love to Love You Baby” she put aside her Christian faith. After the song became very popular and started to get controversial, she stopped performing live. After she stopped performing it live, she became a born again Christian and redirected her life to the Christian faith. Throughout her life she thanked god for her powerful singing voice and said that god was the one who told her she would be a star. Up until her death, she kept her faith throughout her life and even the last days of her life as she battled lung cancer.

    She was a singer, songwriter and actress. Before her death she was writing her own Broadway play, called “Ordinary Girl”.

    Donna liked to paint as a hobby, and made a lot of money selling her paintings to different art museums.
