    Lenwood Glisson Clark, age 61, died suddenly on Thursday, March 4, 1999. He graduated from Virginia Tech, earning a master of science degree in engineering mechanics. He was chief engineer, Space Projects Office, at NASA Langley Research Center, with service of 42 years at NACA/NASA. He was a member of the Jamestown Society and a recent governor's appointee to the Virginia State Library Board. His accomplishments and affiliations include Hampton Lions Club past president and board of directors, First United Methodist Church, Explorer Scouts Institutional Representative and Wesley Men's Bible Class past president, NASA Langley Apprentice School, College of William and Mary math instructor, Christopher Newport College math instructor, NASA Langley Historical and Archaeology Society, Governor's School for the Gifted, NASA Mentor and NASA Langley Speaker's Bureau. He enjoyed doing genealogical research. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Pamela Clark of Poquoson; two sons, one daughter, two granddaughters, his mother,his twin brother, and his sister. He was preceded in death by his father, Lenwood V. Clark.
