Mildred was born the 4th child of Alvin August Gerhardt Tredemeyer and Clara Mae Mischer on March 11, 1929. She grew up in Old Glory, Texas, Luna, New Mexico; Alamo, Texas. She was 11 years old in 1940, living with her mom and dad, sister lorraine and brother Travis Roy in Luna, New Mexico. She met and married Ralph E Brewer, of Arizona, formerly Bedford Indiana, in december of 1950.
