Sara E, was Sarah Elizabeth Hawkins before she married Isaac D Brewer April 8, 1888 in Lawrence Co, Indiana. Her parents were William B Hawkins (1828-1899) and Lydia M. Gregory Hawkins (1832-1912

Lydia was in the 1900 census for lawrence, indiana and was 11 months old when the census was taken. She had 3 brothers listed, Harrison M. born in Dec 1888; Franz S. born in October 1892 and Earl R born in July of 1894. Her mother was Rettie and was born in January of 1861. Her father was James S Lydia was first married to Hubert Ralph Brewer in Bedford, Indiana. Then in the 1940 census they are living in Pleasant Run, Lawrence Co.,Indiana, renting a place for 5.00 month and it reflects that in 1935 they were in Bedford Lawrence Co, Indiana; that my granddfather was a laborer for a farm and my dad Ralph Edward was 11 years old.

Fritz was born on December 19, 1857 in Texas and married Emma Hackebeil on August 3, 1881. They had 5 children..and my grandmother Clara Mae was the youngest one. In the 1900 census, he is shown as Fred(I suspect because of the handwriting back then). He was aged 43 and they were living in Colorado Co, Texas Precinct No. 2 and my grandmother was 2 7/12 mo. old. My great grandfather was listed as a farmer and that both his mother and father were born in Germany.

Emma had 3 brothers by her momma and father, who was Charles. Her brothers were Charles hackabeil born about 1852 in Texas; August hackebeil born August 2 1854 (Married martha Frieml on Jan 15, 1878) and Herman Hackabeil born September 9, 1856 and married Minnie on 5/26/1870. Then something happened to her mother because her Father then remarried Anna Balda born about 1836 in Prussia, and they had 2 children Anna born about 1862 in Fayette, TX and Ida born about 1863 in Fayette, Tx. I have looked and looked and cant find what happened to Emma's mother, my great grandmother. Emma Hackebeil Mischer is buried next to my great grandfather Fritz (12-19-1857 to 1/25-1933) She only lived 5 months after my great grandfather passed away. They are buried at the Old Glory Cemetary in Old Glory Texas. Emma and Fritz are the parents of my grandmother Clara Mae Mischer, who was born in Nada, Texas
