I am Ruth's and Edward Paldanius' daughter, Kay. My parents divorced when I was 5, and we lived in comfortable apartments, usually in Downey, CA. Ruth always worked full time, as a bookkeeper. She was trim and always elegant. She was always a wonderful mom, cheerfully devoting almost all of her weekends to my friends and me; horseback riding, slumber parties, mid 60s rock concerts (Stones, Herman's Hermits, etc) and to our favorite radio station, KRLA in Pasadena. She was a great mom to me, and a loving Grandma to my son, Stefan. I miss her every day.

Ruth Vivien (Haas) Paldanius, Roberts of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California United States was born on December 4, 1919 in Burwell, NE to Ralph and Viola Haas. Ruth Paldanius, Roberts had siblings Mildred Haas Diehl, Lorraine Haas Miller, Dorothye Haas Huchinson, and Bud Haas. She married Herb B. Roberts. She also married Edward W. Paldanius, and they had a child Kay Lorraine Paldanius Brandes Hogan. Ruth Paldanius, Roberts died at age 70 years old on June 29, 1990.
