1927 letter reprinted 2008 in "Tracer"
My mother, Doris Pauline Allen Wagoner, 91, was surprised to find this letter reprinted in the "Norton Tracer" recently. In 1927 she traveled with her parents around Kansas seeking a diagnosis of her father's illness, which later was discovered to be Parkinson's disease. The Uncle referred to in the salutation was not a relative, but a friendly elderly man in her hometown of Lenora, Kansas. She remembers him, but not the letter, and says he probably asked her to write when her family went off on their trip.
