I am the daughter of Dorothy Mae Leathers Harrell and the granddaughter of Simon Leathers. Simon was the son of Isiah and the grandson of Ephraim and Franky Leathers. I am searching for decendents of Ephraim and Franky Leathers married May 30, 1867 in Halifax Cty, NC. They lived in Edgecombe Cty, NC in late 1800s and early 1900. The children were Robert, Isiah, Ephraim, Catie, Sarah, and Eddie. Ephraim, the son, owned land in Hobgood, NC. Isiah moved to VA around 1935. Catie owned land in Martin Cty, NC. Nothing is known about Robert, Sarah, and Eddie.
