She is the daughter of James Eggleston & Ruth Perry Eggleston born April 19, 1884, She married Theodore Spurgeon DeMoss April 10, 1909 in Putnam Co., WV. Califernia died December 12, 1953. Califernia was a deaf mute who attended school at the Romney School for the Blind and Deaf in Romney WV. This is where she met Theodore who was also a deaf mute.
