Curtiss, Alla C. - mausoleum marker
Alan C. Curtiss(1898-1934)

Was the first, or among the first, Internal Revenue IRS agents in Hollywood, California.

His interment in the Abbey Mausoleum ceased after a long beauocratic battle where DOD wanted the land and had to find another suitable location to move the interned bodies. The place was a mess where Marines would sneak in have 'parties' and disgorged many caskets from their crypts. Fortunately Alan's was undisturbed. He is now interned in a beautiful setting at the National Cemetery in the Arlington area of Virginia.
