This is a sketch of Daniel Collins(b.1816, in Ohio) while he was in the union military..it is said that he reached the rank of Colonel..but have not found proof of this. He married a girl by the name of Mary Wyeth(she died in 1848) & they had a son John W. Collins(1837), He then married a Mary Ann Ash (a Widow with children) on Oct 9,1849, But then married a Catherine Edinger on Oct 21, 1852 and had the rest of his children with her until he died in Neosho Co, Kansas on Aug 2, 1883. ... show more
