He had siblings Donald Wiltse, Hazel Wiltse, and Lois Beth Wiltse. He married Doreen Marie (Bergan) Wiltse, and had children Kathleen Jeanette (Wiltse) Lewis Goldsberry and Sue De (Wiltse) Saxon Price. Emery Wiltse died at age 76 years old on January 26, 1992 in Las Vegas, Clark County, NV, and was buried in Logandale.
